This video shows the TrackIR4 being used in Battlefield 2. TrackIR4 is a head tracker that increases your immersion in games like Battlefield 2, Armed Assault and other FPS Titles. This is just a technical demo, no official TrackIR support is available for Battlefield2.

What?! Since when has BF2 used TrackIR? I've had BF2 for so long and I've nvr seen that option. If it really does support I'm going to start playing BF2 again right away.

Hello guys.. and hello men.. I looked this video only now.. and I have readed about this only.. tomorrow is my birthday and I finally bought the trackIR 4 PRO... I am not full of money and only now i understand that i cant use this in BF2(my favourite game).. there are some solutions?! if Kevin did this, why we can't use the trackIR in this way too ? :( somebody can help me to understand better ? and how to use it ?

I answered your question on the TrackIR forums, but for everyone else that's interested: as the title indicates, this is only a tech demo. It's an in house mod showing what 6DOF can look like in BF2, but it's up to the developers to actually incorporate the technology into the public version of the game. Nothing new to announce at this point on that front.
Whether in BF2 or any other title, it's ultimately up to the developers to decide to take advantage of TrackIR's technology.
