  • WOW i feel that Kaiser Permenante will do somelike that to you.

Im suprised being the largest HMO like dm1217 said they will do that, i've been to other insurance's and none have been like Kaiser. They offer superb service, Switch to another hospital if possible.

    Good Luck To You. :D

  • I have a "precondition" now and can not change my provider. Now, i have had pain management for a few years and I am being told that if I rise my Fentanyl to the final level, they will not be able to do any more for me. They suggest Coginitive Behavioral Modification therapy but do not offer it themselves. This costs from $8,000-56,000 and I have no way to get money like that on my $886/mo. income. I wish that I were told of this when I started the pain management program. Life is tough at times

  • Hello. Yes, you are fortunate as are so many others. However, I now have "deeper" access into the workigs of Kaiser and, personally, this scares me to see so many wel-meaning and good-intentioned people cut off at the pass to make things easier for patients who are chronically ill and require more services than most. I hope that you have seen my newer part of this to learn how I have been doing since this time. Thank you for your iput.

  • hey people, i am doing a paper on kaiser permanente. and i would need informations on complains and lawsuits kaisers, and how kaiser managered to pull it off that sort. It would be nice if the information is formally documented on websites and links for access. THANK Much

  • Will you please let me know what your email address is?

    Thanks. Anyse

  • Kaiser sucks--they like to pass you off to a "specialist" as many times as they can and charge you for each-go figure a sorry HMO

  • Kaiser charge me 6,000 on a kidney stone and only 4 hours of work. They scan me twice in 2 of there ct scan which alone cost 3,000. When I go in the hosp. I already told them that I had a kidney stone and they have to scan me with all these operation on me. You know what really help me is there pain killer medicine that only cost 110 and yet I already have some at home stupid me. They never fix my problem, the kidney stone just go away by its own. I also have there medical pre that I will cancel

  • I can only tell you from my experience, Kaiser damn near killed me, my health is coming very slow because I cancelled my insurance. I would rather not have insurance and be healthy then have insurance and die. Seriously kaiser is broken, I also hear that from ppl that use to work there also.

  • " It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society "

  • You know why they are the largest of all or it is? Cause all the work place heathcare is from kaiser. IF these people would choose there healthcare need they will go somewhere esle cause you know poor people will go methordist, sutter, and mary hospital. Kaiser is expensive. They also say that they treat you as there own, but I don't see it that way...

  • if you have low income, dont go kaiser. Go with methordist, sutter, Mary hosp... which you can go apply for assistance from the welfare office to help pay the bill from these hospitals. Kaiser have there own things and they also have the assistance program but they told me that will only help me about 20% of the bill. You can also apply for CMISP at the welfare office. you should qualify with that income.
