How To Load A Motorcycle Alone

An example of how to load a motorcycle into a pickup truck by yourself. It helps if you are tall enough, like I am, to step up into your truck with just a step stool. The Frontier is not that high off the ground, but the 4x4 is a little higher than some. Otherwise you may need another ramp or a board to walk alongside your bike. This is me preparing for a track day at Sears Point (Infineon Raceway) in April, 2009.

@skiraf Absolutely! I don't own a double wide ramp, and I don't have the space to keep one either. (I am loading in a parking garage here underneath my apartment building at the time).

to unload a biek bymyself i will put the bike in first gear (without the bike running) this will make the rear wheel a brake when you let the clutch out. so now you have control of braking both wheels on the way down. and tie your strap to your truck like this guy.

How to load a Motorcycle Alone!

Step 1. Go back a few meters.

Step 2. Get on your bike.

Step 3. Turn your bike on.

Step 4. Floor it and hope your make it! :D

Step 5 if necessary. Go to the nearest hospital.

Thanks for posting. And please ignore the comment about 'just ride the bike up the ramp.' A sure way to drop your bike and possibly break your neck.
