i agree with him that ALL THE TONGUES WAS THE SAME in those chapters but what he doesnt teach is that IT WAS A SIGN that these people JUST NOW RECIEVED THE HOLY GHOST.. now i come from pentecostal church and have seen FALSE SPEAKING AND OPERATIONS OF TONGUES but it doesnt NEGATE the TRUTH OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES.. i would DEBATE HIM ON THIS SUBJECT.. how do i get ahold of DOUG BACHOLER

let me tell you something about speakng in tongues ,it is real and you can only go by your personal experiences ,prayer is for understanding so when you speak in tongues do it in private with god that is what it is all about !god bless

If you don't believe in tongues it is certain that you don't have the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the seal of the purchase and it is that Spirit evidence that give you a "knowing" that you are born again thus nicodemos who was a believer in Jesus asked how to be born again. Don't be deceive seek and ask God for it. Don't believe on no one else.

No, no and emphatic NO. I speak several languages and I do received the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and it is DIFFERENT. When I do speak in an Unknown tongue I have no idea what I am saying but I feel edification of my inner man.

read Jude. Remember they also say "they are drunk" and Peter rebuke them. Your example of somebody speaking in tongues been recorded and others interpreting so shows God can give millions of interpretations thus HE IS GOD

All those at Pentecost understood Aramaic. Acts 2 makes this clear. Peter preaches and addresses those who collectively knew many languages in the common tongue of Aramaic. Real languages were spoken and understood at Pentecost. Yet the gospel was not presented until Peters sermon in the common tongue.

I like this brother BUT HE IS WRONG. TONGUE IS FOR TODAY AND IS FOR PERSONAL PRAYER AND TO BUILD OURSELVES UP.  THAT IS NOT THE SAME THING AS THE "GIFT" OF TONGUES which is for somebody to give a message to the church who also has somebody there which will interpret. SO BROTHER WHY PAUL NEED TO INTERPRET IF EVERYBODY UNDERSTOOD?
