Ten never had a proper national campaign until 1989. Before that, there was no Ten in Perth and Brisbane was on channel 0 which were both rectified the previous year. Therefore Ten had a mish-mash of on-air campaigns ranging from in-house production at Ten Sydney to Frank Gari inspired promos in Adelaide (which at one stage had stations using both Gari's "Say Hello" and "Stand Up and Tell 'em" campaigns) and Qintex-owned TV-0 (as it was pre 1988) Brisbane.
I useed to have Star Wars recorded off ten sometime in 84/85/86 and it had this before the film came on. Wish I still had that tape. Also had Raiders of the Lost Ark from 85 whichad the record for tv ratings for Sunday movie (and may still have it). The advertisements were as if from another planet.
It would be in 1988 when Ten had a national slogan (We're For You!) except in Brisbane, where it was promoted as Brisbane Ten until 1989

No it wasn't !!
ATV 10 Melbourne NEVER used the "Ten out of Ten" campaign.. as good as it was !!
Ten Melbourne's campaigns from 1983 to 1986 were "Home on Ten" followed by "We've got it Together" in 1987.
