When you leave the classic point and click adventure Discworld running without moving the mouse, Rincewind will appear shouting "Hello, anybody home"...
He will also prod the screen with his finger and look around.
If you would like to download my enhanced music soundtrack for the game Discworld, click the link below:

James, I'd just like to ask you whether when dialogue is used and speech (on the talkie version) you can tell there is a distinct background noise and hiss ???
I assume due to low quality/bit-rate etc.
I think I still have this game on floppy disks...
I'm asking because a friend had given me this game with your enhanced soundtrack (good job btw ;p) and ScummVM on a usb stick. Speech sounds dreadful with my headphones on.
I have no idea whether he used original soundfiles.
Thanks

@igorbog88 On many point and click adventures, the voice quality on talkie versions can be varied and often because of the lack of space, audio codecs (no mp3 at the time etc) and limited processing power, they did suffer a little with audio noise due to compression.
This can be made worse if they have been compressed again at the wrong settings to further reduce the space required by the files.
