I was in Shoreditch/Clerkenwell in late 90s and the whole bastard place was full of Barleys. The trouble was they all watched this and it seemed to bolster their cuntiness rather than make them question their own actions. Even one of my own close friends used the words 'bum' and 'Mexico' as superlatives. I almost killed him.

I hated the non-pilot Dan to begin with, but as the series goes on, he's gets better and better ; makes everyone else that much more ridiculous
