Got a question i just took my to a professional sound shop they connected everything right everything worked but the dvd dont show no picture it does have sound but no pic do u know whats wrong with it let me know

the wire adaptor for the front or back?? the one for the front so that you can controll it through the head unit is a Pioneer CD-IU50V

@xboxgolferboy even though it's touchscreen u still can't use it? Not even for radio or DVD? That's ridiculous, i'd rather it have it in the front then

they have a cable that you can connect through the back but you cant control the ipod from the screen...so unless you dont mind having to manuelly change the song through the ipod then thats a way..other then that your stuck to the usb/aux cord sticking through the front :/

@xboxgolferboy hey i have the 3100 and i love it but the only thing that sucks is that the usb cable entrance for the Ipod or usb gets in the way and it looks really bad in the front. How do i run the cable through the glovebox or cup holder n is it still possible since it is already installed or is it too late?

Ya i didn't do it personally but from the looks of it they shaved off a lil bit from both sides and the back bar.. then they put this universal kit on it so it wouldnt slip out of dash i'll probably make a video of how they did it later on..

Hey, did you have to modify anything on your truck to get the radio to fit?
im lookin' at buying a 3100 but the bestbuy website says it won't fit a 2001 f150..

yes i did... it has to be customized.. i had mine done at custom sounds.. it was about 170 with installation...
