This was my final project for my animation class at the OWATC. I made this in 2002 with 3d studio max and it was quite the feat as i was just learning about how to use after effects. Hope you enjoy it!

wow, nice! Did you do all of those models yourself? That's good work! How long did it take to render?

I did create all the models myself. Well back in the day it took me about a month to put the whole thing together. Each shot was rendered seperately and i used after effects to speed up the process by rendering just certain components as an alpha channel and then used after effects to put all the seperate pieces together.
