David is simply amazing. And regardless of what role he plays, he always will be!

I think he MIGHT stay for series 5 but no more after that which is about right. It would be a good time for him to go right in his prime. He made his mark, he's easily the best Doctor there has ever been and he stayed for a good long while and everyone loved him. I wouldn't want poor David to end up typecast. He's a great actor and deserves better than posing with overweight fans at the annual "Who-con" every summer for the rest of his days! >.>

I would LOVE to see David as the Doctor for the next TEN years, but that shooting schedule is brrrrutal on the actors. I think that even a geeky "Whovian" like David will eventually peter out of his endurance for it. He seems the type to stay as long as they keep it interesting and different each year. Geez, I love this man. He's bril!
