I Hate Qwest Internet

This is an example of my horrible internet service/provider called Qwest. It absolutely sucks.

The service is on a 20mbps connection for around $85 a month. But, the quality and reliability sucks so much. Even the support doesn't help and charges you radiculous amounts (we got a bill of +$120 for calling in support) for it.

The internet tends to either randomly give you lag spikes or barely any connection to the internet (bandwidth suddenly becomes dial-up speed). This happens every day making online games hard to even play on.

There wasn't any other devices using the internet connection during this test. And all ports were opened to allow free trafic in and out to the PS3. Also, this match was found under a 50ms ping.

On the internet, download speeds are actually around 12-14mbps at most. But upload speed is a terrible 0.48mbps at best. Cox internet (12mbps connection for ~$40/month) is way better and has similar connection speeds to Qwest's 20mbps but the upload is a good 8-10mbps. Plus, Cox internet has never been down during the time with no random disconnects or lag spikes.

mine sucks worse than this i get like 3 mbp download and 1 upload and my ping goes from 30 to 50

@HayfenHD : I don't see how having a ping of 30 go to 50 is bad. I get a ping of +180 on servers within 50ms away.

If you live in Idaho, go with Cable One. I never lagged when I had it, and I always had 40-45 Mbps. I can't even play video games anymore with Qwest.

haha my centurylink is 1.5 mbps subscription and i only get about .35 mbps with a 500ms+ ping. Cant do a damn thing with it.

@FreespiritTheUmbreon well thats on a good day most of the time it will either fluctuate from 50 to 500ms for no reason and we are paying 45 dollars a month for this.

I love how I can't even stream youtube videos without the occasional buffer. My speed is more than enough to stream even 360p.
