My dachshunds likes to be tucked in and then given a good night petting or kiss on the head. So cute!!! :)

All dachshunds are burrowers. Our little girl has about 5 or 6 blanket beds and kennels with blankets throughout the house. They're so funny when they have to get their bedding "just right".

...they're bred tunnelers, den-builders w/super night-vision eyes, So-oo. They're part beaver, prarie-dawg, hawk& owl, fox, wolverine and a host of other critters you'd shudder t' think about. Mine's just gotta burrow into blankets &/or laundry-piles: Drives th' missus crazy when it's th' folded laundry he sets his instincts & wiener-dawg architectural skills upon.especially when he honin'-up on his gnawing-abilities...He sleeps next to my shins inside his own beaver/dachshund-den blanket...
