@kevand21 I wouldn't say idiots, misguided in many ways I will say yes, are they somewhat misinformed I would agree as well. However it is about the intent. His explanation of his brother's intent does not speak that of an idiot. Is it farfetched, in many was yes to have ownership of Tiger in a housing complex, yes it is. The bigger picture is what has been learned & how they move forward. I think more focus should be placed upon the intent, & the rehabilitation of his mistakes.

@ScotchItali That's true, but the only way for the tiger to be saved from extinction is for it to be privatized just like how we own cattle, dogs, cats, and other pets. Obviously tiger should be not be owned as housepets, but there are private organizations that specialize in dealing with wild animals, BigCatRescue is one of them. If someone wants a farm of tigers and they are professionals, than that should be legal in every state. Just like a farmer owns it's cattle.

they shot it with a tranquilizer and transported to it to some zoo. the guy who had the tiger moved to nevada or arizona and he is looking to open a zoo with lions tigers and bears and so on. and wants to rekindle his relationship with his tiger. they did a feature on this guy on FATAL ATTRACTIONS
