  • Didn't they use this in Coming To America during the club scene?

  • @DEBBO8080 LOOOL!!!

  • Jesse's guitar solos put Prince to shame.

  • @tubucoco mark! lol!

  • @drezone - and Prince is a master musician, capable of playing many instruments and has when producing some of his first few albums early in his career. He had parents that both were in the music business, therefore he was born out his moms womb playing music. lol So, not sayin Jesse isn't a great guitar player because he is, but to say Jesse would rip Prince in abilty is not true, you know that! lol

  • No jealousy, that's just rumors and we know about rumors! Prince just gave JJ advice when he was about to go solo and that was to be different, create his own music style because to many other former players in Prince's circle kept the MinnyAp style of music when they went solo, and Prince was the creator of that style of music! So we know how Prince is when it comes down to his music, he is real demanding to put it kindly! lol

  • @thereelvalentin yeah it is!

  • I'm a big Prince fan, but Jesse rips Prince in ability for sure!

Was this album the one where Prince called up Jesse and said his album was, "shit"?

I know Prince's "Shockadelica" B-side was a response to Jesse Johnson, sadly getting more credit for it and releasing it before Jesse's album, but can someone verify or even validate this story?

  • @bluboysss -why do people keep sayin this because it's not true, both are guitar legends, difference is Prince is more known for playin a lot of instruments, but go and look up any of his old or new music, dude is a guitar demon!!

  • Everybody know I am Jesse was THE MAN
