When "JEANNIE" became a color program in the fall of 1966, producer Sidney Sheldon wanted to exploit the many hues he could use on screen (on a limited budget, of course)- Jeannie's smoke sometimes changed color that season, depending on her mood...and if there was a scene where she was going to leave "Master", she'd wear her green "traveling" outfit [very similar to the one she wore in two first season episodes], which eventually became her "sister's".
