Heart breaking lyrics. I was one year removed from the Army having served in Vietnam when the movie, Cinderalla Liberty, came out. I had just broken up with my first love. The problems in our relationship had to do with me not having fully adjucted to civilian life. For some, war can be hell; it can affect one's emotional well being. It affected me and how I related to my first love. I often think back to her and remember how nice it was to be around her. That is what this song means me.
