Giant Maestro Suspension sets the standard for today's mountain bike suspension systems. Not only is it a race-proven performance suspension system, but it's also highly versatile. Maestro is currently used for all of Giant's performance off-road full-suspension bikes. From XC to big hit, air shock to coil shock, it can be optimized for any trail, any rider, any use. This video shows you, step-by-step, how to set up and adjust your Maestro Suspension system.

I'm referring to video szskWm_mgdA
Surely Kurt Sorge winning RBR will create more interest in Maestro's capabilities than an overly critical review of competitor's suspensions?

I'm an enthusiastic Giant Maestro suspension advocate and I love my Giant bikes.
However, I am extremely disappointed that the recently uploaded Maestro suspension video illustrates the superiority of Maestro by mainly pointing out the “flaws” in the suspension technologies and implementations of other bike manufacturers. Why does a brand like Giant need to stoop so low? It's unnecessary, lame and just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It makes me feel like I want to dissociate myself from Giant.

You start in the middle the it depends on terrain the weight of the rider and personal preference. It should be as fast as possible but not to the point where the bike starts kicking back. Testing, testing, testing. I hope that helps :)

I still have not found a good guide on how to tune the most important adjustment in all suspensions - rebound damping.
Giant, please make a video to demystify rebound damping.

Funny though you don't happen to mention that many shocks have different valving tunes and that completely transforms the bike behavior even when following the general guidelines for sag setup. But I guess that would over complicate stuff and people nowadays are happy to be just plain ignorant. It would be nice though If you happened to answer to e-mails from owners and fans with more technical insight wishing to go a bit further on suspension tuning with their Giant frame. I'm one of those.
