It always seemed to me that this kind of show in the 90's was a total fraud though.

She's just 20 here, and started writing super early on, as she was in her late teens.
I can't see no delay.

@MrXevier Most Top of the Pops performances back then were not live at all, even when acts wanted to play live. Kate singing live is unusual for Top of the Pops, at the time anyhow. More acts sing live now than then I would have thought...? So many of the classic TOTP performances are mimed.
