@LetsgetGuitarded What's wrong with you people in NJ? Are conservatives in NJ AGAINST the middle class or what? Your state can't afford to pay it's teachers because, like so many other states, NJ can't write a freaking budget. He SHOULD be paying for his insurance; he makes more than twice what any teacher makes. I see a lot of discussion here about all the "benefits" teachers have. What about all the benefits your holy governor has? Why not target the guy who gives no-bid contracts to his buds?

You can tell the teachers sit around whining how bad they have it to each other because they are shocked when they find out the public doesn't agree.

92%??? And they cant pay for another 1 1/2% percent?? What a fuckin joke. The Unions in this country are out of control. Another person said that they should be paid 3$ per pupil AKA 83000 per year. The answer is no. A lot of good college professors get paid that same amount and the state simply cannot afford to pay teachers that especially when their schools are failing and tenured horrible teachers are still allowed to teach. Went through that at my school. Learn to take no for an answer
I am a teacher and i am sick and tired oif hearing teachers whine and bitch about their hours, their salary, and having to buy school supplies out of their own pocket.

I can really give two poops about this teacher. My employer just slashed what they contribute to employee health insurance and it took a big bite out of my paycheck. I am a social worker for a non-profit agency. We don't have tenure, a union, automatic raises or a pension. We don't have jack squat. But that is my problem to deal with. No one owes me anything.
