Simona Atzori, born amputee from Italy, famous artist, charismatic ballet dancer & gifted painter with her feet.

Simona delivers strong messages to all of us:
1) a disability or sickness doesn't mean incompetence or unhappiness. And this is s.th. we should consider when it comes to prenatal diagnosis and its dreadful eventual follow-up, abortion.

2) The problems we all face in our life shouldn't keep us from chasing our dreams.

3) No matter how hard our life circumstances are, there are always people around us who have to cope (and they do!) with unthinkable difficulties of multiple severity. If they can do it, so can we!
