@yazdegred Yes, MI = Michigan. As for being about to practice freely without problems, that's everywhere. You're free to practice, attend the masjid, Islamic events of the community as you'd like.

If you're moving to the US, where you decide to move depends on a number of factors such as cost of living, season/weather conditions, economy, job.

NY/NJ, Los Angeles and San Fransisco are some of the more expensive areas to live. However, places like Orlando, Houston and Dallas are more affordable

Theres a lot of other large Muslim communities in the US. Dearborn, MI is the largest Muslim population in the US. Well over a million Muslims I believe. the Greater New York City area has well over a million Muslims too. Cities like Houston, San Fransisco and Los Angeles also have large Muslim populations too.
