Update of my 3g with a flowmaster muffler

Flowmaster 40 series deltaflow muffler after having it a month. and cleaning up the looks with a cheap autozone muffler. let me know what you think.

That's cause it's an old video with a bad quality camera. A) it sounds better in person, B) it's been broken in so it sounds alot better. Especially since I put the K&N Short Ram Intake on it, fills in the empty sound of just the muffler.

The reason it doesn't sound as good as it should is because the muffler I ordered is intended for a Mustang V8 and my car doesn't have the power to properly flow the air through it. And therefore it has way too much backpressure and doesn't sound as good as a Flowmaster 60 series would have.

No it fit cause the housing is the correct size it's just the way the airflow is designed to go through this muffler is meant for a higher power V8, and I actually got it wrong, I don't have enough backpressure for this muffler. But it still sounds good, I wasn't going for anything really loud, just something that would give me a deeper and slightly louder sound which I achieved. And I don't over mod it cause this car is my daily driver and I still have a bit to pay on the loan I have on it.

an besides, magnaflow doesn't sound any better, it sounds high pitched revving up and has the ricery sound going back down, it sounds really bad in my opinion. There's a video of a 3g GS with one on here if you wanna hear what I mean.

I think the baffling in the muffler is what causes it to gargle back down. But I still like the sound of it all around, and it's a bit louder than my friend's Dynomax.
