There is no "the Amy". He wrote this song while on a train, admiring a woman he was sure he didn't have a chance with. He said it was all about liking someone and the fear and yearning of wanting them to like you back. What a beautiful song, right?
And it's awesome when it's your name in a song, so I'm with the amy's out there. Work it like it is yours.

(And it was originally called "Ella's song", not that it's about the cat or anything but Ella had herpes and didn't like anybody but loved it when Joshua sang. Haha, so... My girlfriend/best friend and I have been together for over a year, and for the recent 4 months, we have gone through some pretty rough speed bumps pushed forward by others and society.
