Walmart will allow you to park overnight but its against local ordances in many areas to sleep in a vehicle,you might not get a visit from the manager but you might get a knock from officer friendly. It is just common courtesy if someone is going to let you park for free you would try to blend in, NOT open the pop outs and start the generator. It is great that Walmart allows this but its the douchbags who make it obvious that will get local towns to enforce or pass laws preventing it.

It makes business sense for Wal-Mart to let campers spend the night cause most people are going to go in to the store and stock up on supply's.

wal mart allows this and there is nothing wrong or illegal about it. As long as the manager does not ask the people to leave then they are free to stay. Also if the people in the rv's, as long as they do not dispose of there waste illegally then there is nothing wrong with it. You are allowed to saty over night at rest areas aren't you. This is a cheap and very smart way to travel with wal marts blessing.

And them parking there affects you how? The only time that lot is used is during Black Friday. Other than that, it goes unused by all except truck drivers who HAVE to take a break. Would you rather they park on the street next to your house, blocking your driveway? Or in a high crime neighborhood?
