@leloodallasmultipass Honestly if your trying to gain some more power doing just the catback wont do ya much good. Improved sound sure but really no noticeable power gain. What you should do is the full turbo back. New down pipe, up pip, and straight pipe to the muffler. With doing that, although, you would need to get it tuned one way or another. The Cobb Access port for example. That's what I am doing.

Hi, whats the original subaru forester inlet diamater for the muffler? 2,5" or 3"?
Wondering cuz I sell carbon fiber mufflers and but they have 2,5" inlet, wonder if it fits the forester.

I like. Maybe I try this. tks.
hey- sounds nice. I am looking to get an exhaust for my 08 xt and I wondered if this is loud? I have a neighbor with a wrx sti and I can hear him from several blocks away. I dont want that. but I do want refinement and some extra horses freed.

It was not loud but not what I (or my wife, or my friends) would call quiet. A friend of mine consistently claimed he could hear me coming from about a block over while he was inside his house... but he's got an ear for that sort of thing.
I've since dumped the 3" midpipe in favor of the OEM one which is 2.5". It's a little quieter now.
Keep in mind this is a full turbo-back-exhaust. If you are looking at just a muffler, the Prodrive is as quiet as they come, with just enough growl on tap.
