Their pride lies in their love and dedication to their God and his son Jesus Christ. Armenians and Assyrians are ancient people, that have sufferend so much. Their endurance, lasts, after centuries of torture. Genocide, War, Earthquake, nothing can destroy these peoples' faith in God!

as a turk i have to say, im feeling a tad bit hostility LOL. armenians killed far more muslims, than the other way around. as far as the assyrians go, i hadnt even heard of this tribe before, sounds like christian arabs, i have no problems with them. greeks seem to be okay too.as far as the armenians go, if you want to take my life, dont be surprised if it defend myself, and then go cry genocide LOL. the arabs betrayed turks, and russians invaded, i have no ill will to them. its history.

God bless all Christians and Jews, there's only one religion that's about violence and hate towards both Christians and Jews, why they have hate towards both faiths? only God knows, but no matter how much they deny wrong doing towards either faith they cannot brake us, nor make us weak, by their violence towards both faiths they have brought us closer to one another, so may God be merciful on Muslims and show them the true meaning of peace for even their faith is in the same God. Sultan Selim I brought the Kurds from Isfahan in the 16th century and settled them in the Assyrian highlands on the Iranian borders to fight the Shiite Safavids.

1 The Ottoman Empire began using these Kurdish tribes over the centuries to kill the Christian Assyrians and Armenians systematically. This forced the Christians under the Ottoman domination to ask for help from their neighbouring Christian countries, especially Russia, (the most powerful Christian nation at the time), and begged to be saved from the Islamic persecution in the region, after the Ottoman government neglected their pleas repeatedly.

After allowing the Roman Catholic missions to enter Assyria and Armenia, the British Anglican missions were allowed in next.

Based on this historical fact, the Ottoman Empire is the one who collaborated with foreigners and consented to their presence in that territory.
