Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein led Disco Biscuits guitarist Jon Gutwillig, String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth, Umphrey's McGee guitarist Jake Cinninger and Russo through a series of Phish covers under the name the HeadCount All Stars. Brownstein, who has shied away from covering Phish over the years, described the group as his "favorite band" and led the charge through spot-on renditions of "Wilson," "Run Like An Antelope," "2001," and "Maze, " the latter of which also featured Disco Biscuits keyboardist Aron Magner. Throughout the performance, moe. lighting director, and former Jambands.com News Editor, Jeff Waful manned the board from the rear of the house.

  • marc's a great guy and he does a good job with these... but it just shows how amazing phish really is ... just trey's guitar tone alone can never be matched... amazing how they need two guitarists too to pull off what trey could do alone

  • wow Phix must have been really talented- this is a clusterf***

  • hell yeah rt phish's jamming is unprecedented end of story

  • ryan tierney <3

  • magner is so gay :)

  • @koobydeh no one sounds like him at all, some people just can't see it

  • @moephishron that's your opinion

  • @banooba you don't know anything. warren haynes can not touch trey anastasio. derek trucks is amazing, but he is not nearly as versatile. he's an amazing slide guitarist but that'sjust what he is, a slide guitarist. so many grateful dead songs were so fucking simple, it was a simplistic genius no doubt, but trey pushed the jams harder than jerry did.sorry, but nice try

  • lol at blew my mind

  • @mackerall19 Good shit man you just blew my mind
