Lego 7-speeds+R gearbox, the gearbox base is from 8448 with 2 more speeds. Completely sequential no more mechanism...

  • hi dont know if you are active on youtube anymore ... but i wanna ask something :) : allready built you gearbox but dont know how the mechanism works (the one which change the speeds) :) by the way ... great work

  • very impressive; i have built a 6-speed transfer case using 3 clutches with speed ratios from 6:1 to 1:2; it only takes up a total space of 6 lego units, both horizontally and vertically and is extremely robust. however, it doesn't have a reverse gear (just use motor polarity) nor is it sequential or auto-shifting ; I like yours very much!
