  • I'm sorry bout that. I see all 1:31. I just wish they hadn't cut to the end at (:53) and shown all however long the whole routine was.

  • @24inloveandhavingfun Bobby died May 9, 2003

  • He was killed in a tragic accident May of 2003....He has inspired and touched the lives of many!!

  • @TwirlingGuy

It wasn't 2005. It was during the 2002-2003 school year; I'm pretty sure it was spring so it was 2003. I remember because a kid from my school was killed in a car accident the same year.

  • WOW ! incrediable....

  • @VinsonMD I really think that you should remove this and not be judgemental of such a great person!!

  • Thanks for this video.

I remember seeing him perform with the band on home-game days (football), both in the stadium and in the pre-game gatherings in the campus sculpture garden; also in the local holiday parade.

Nebraska's pretty conservative--I don't think people were quite ready for a male baton twirler, but anyone watching was immediately struck by his exceeding, intense & undeniable talent and showmanship. He was a joy to behold.

  • His tricks are technically hard, but he looks very sloppy.

  • I feel bad for all of the young twirlers out there that were unable to see Bobby twirl live or take a lesson from him. He was an amazing twirler and amazing person. I have twirled on his team all of my life (Sue's Stepperettes) and not a day goes by when we don't think about him. We walk into our practice gym everyday and twirl for him!

  • Nobody take this the wrong way. But many of You won't fully appreciate him, as YOu didn't know him. I was a competitor of his. Wonderful being on the floor and off. He taught me my first back neck roll. But he will be missed. Thanks for posting this. Shows what the world will truly miss and what one can fully achieve.

  • Oh sorry said that wrong i go to his old high school Ralston High for life
