I think the next one that makes a remark about Shane's teeth should have his/her own knocked out. By me. With the ball peen of an engineer's hammer.

Just look them straight in the eye and say... Pouge Mahone!!

Absolute 100% quality. Nuff said!!!

The sound's bad cos it's old and taped off the telly...to me it's a national treasure and should be preserved...long live the pogues..
-
Like Bukowski said:it's all about style.and the pogues have style!Shane has style!fucki'n brilliant!
-
shane actually wasent that bad looking when he was younger not afraid to admit that to be honest, love shane hes the best :D
-
what's the name of this song?
-
@JanBasler I don't understand why people find it sad, or why you have a "tear in your eye" when Shan is doing exactly what he wants with his life. Also, Shane still sings great, so no need to be sad.
-
@kilobbb it's obviously because of the bad vhs quality of the audio!
Follow the analogy...Shane McGowan is to Bill Monroe as Bluegrass is to Irish Pub Punk. Shane will forever be a legend.
The brilliance...just think a few years before he was hanging out with Sid Vicious, Billy Idol and Paul Simonon. So here is a guy who stood at the starting line of punk and created (with the Pougues all) a style of music which lives forth,(i.e. Flogging Molly, Great Big Sea).
SHANE MCGOWAN can never DIE!

Keep in mind the correct spelling is MacGowan, and he can and will die probably sooner than later, but his legend will live....

Jem Finer has developed his own unique style of banjo playing over his years with the Pogues. The next time you get a chance to hear them live listen for the drive . A lot of it is coming via Mr. Finer. Brilliant really.

The Pogues are all very talented musicians who need to tour more with their side projects.
