  • Dear igorstrav- Sorry, I'm not putting you down man, because the mix on everything else was beautiful for me being that my major instrument is piano. It's just that being a vocalist and lyricist as well influences my attention to the story of the lyric.

  • Don, not to worry...I just chafe at somebody judging the character of our audio through this medium. In my studio in surround and HD...Steve sounds like he's performing for you alone.

  • And re: The sax being too loud. I agree, but that's not his fault. It's the person who did the final mix. It really should have been softer, and blended into the mood. But he played beautifully. Man, that wasn't chopped liver. That was a schooled musician... Even if he didn't go to school! And Steve, I've got a song for you Sir. it's called, "I See You've Got A Man". If it's ment to be, we'll connect somehow.

  • I'm the person that did the final mix and it sounds amazing in HD surround...which is how it was intended to be heard. The character of the solo is more energetic than you may prefer (I'm not sure I would disagree) but the sound and mix are perfect in the right listening environment.

  • OH Y E S..... Hope he makes it big we see more of him.

  • Dear igorstrav- When we put our art out there, it's theirs to judge, however, my philosophy is this: Never apologize if the beat of your heart sets the rhythm & message of love. Hey man, If you can do it, you're not bragging. Stay creative.

  • Don Drumm back again. I didn't finish. And Jim DeJulio. Hey man, are you still alive? Remember Nola's Penthouse Studio on 57th St.? You & I doing a quick recording together? One of my originals called, "Beany", and a few other songs. If you're still around, check out the following on youtube. "Here's To The Heroes Tribute." The most profound lyric I've ever written to date.

  • Laid-back & smooth gentlemen. Very nice! This style brings me back to a time when we would make the rounds of the small clubs and simply listen. New York, Chicago, Springfield, Ma. You name the town, this style was everywhere.
