Not Nice (Chris Garneau - Cover)

I'm thinking that the next few videos might be covers of artists who not as many people may have heard of, but who I think deserve a listen.

So entry no. 1 is Chris Garneau.

A friend introduced me to his "Music for Tourists" last fall. He's got a lovely, striking voice and writes beautiful melodies. I took a few listens through his CD and then sort of put it away. For a while, it just disappeared, but then, recently, the songs started popping back up in my head. This one in particular seemed to be hanging around a lot. It's a beautiful song and you should definitely check out his version -- there is a lovely version here on YouTube and the album version is even better.

In any case, here's hoping this might earn the guy a few more fans because he certainly deserves to be heard.

Chris and Matthew are so similar and both such beautiful, gifted people. I wish I could see them perform live more often, or at all in Matthew's case.

I can't stop listening to your music. I think you're amazingly talented. I learnt your Samson tutorial, it was really good , thank you. One quesiton, it may sound silly , but how do you get so much feeling behind your words, you seem to just connect with every song you sing?
