@Malsrocko - Well, In order to change the color of your neopet, you'll need a magical paintbrush. You can buy them from the marketplace, but they are very expensive. Or you can just find them randomly, if you're lucky...

I'm not sure, but I think you can get one if you complete a very special quest like the snow fairy in Terror Mountain.

What a catchy tune! My favorite is the Faerie Aisha. :D After years of saving up, I was finally able to achieve my dream and paint my Aisha that color! I also have a Disco Aisha. My top five: Faerie, Pink, Disco, Alien, and Desert! ^__^
