Sure... it's a glider, so it's only used in emergencies and self take-off... ; )

A lot. Most self-launching sailplane as far as I have researched are over $100000
But there's one called the 'Alatus' which costs only about 27000 euros(some websites said 24000)

That blade would turn any bird into chop suey! Plus, that engine sounds annoying. How the hell can you stand listening to it while you're flying?

muito interessante! De quantos hp é o motor? tem alguma estimativa de qtos litros/hora ele consome? Como que se faz para deixar a helice na posição correta pra retrair o conjunto?
