Life Is A Rock But WRC Rolled Me. This video is a tribute to The Great 98. 980 WRC was part of the NBC O&O chain in Washington DC. The Top 40 format was hot in the early to mid 70s. Like most other stations around the country, we had Reunion sing the call letters which were edited into the body of the song. Included are various DJ profiles and some behind the scene shots of various employees who made the station successful. For more info on the Great 98 please visit www.98wrc.com
This may just be the best thing on the Internet. God I miss rock n roll radio.

Congratulations! With this video you really captured the spirit of that era! A tremendous amount of work, but the result was worth it. I never got to hear WRC - I was a WLS listener - but it must of been a great station! Once again, great job!

I never knew Greaseman was on WRC. I thought he was only on DC 101. We have Smash here in St. Louis with his Smash Band. He has no hair now.

Love this song! Just heard on the radio and ran to my computer right away. The video went perfectly with the song.

Excellent version! I never knew that there was a WABC version of "Life Is a Rock", but in the chorus, it should say "Life Is A Rock WABC Rolled Me".

I remember a version of this for WLS and WCFL in Chicago. Thanks for the memories.
