  • @ehcmier Ok and........???Those people that are you are referring to as black CHOOSE to identify as black, but we cannot disregard the experiences of those that are FIRST GENERATION biracials and those people that CHOOSE to identify as multiracial that are multigenerationally multiracially mixed. If MOST blacks in America are biracial and/or multiracial which is the TRUTH for the majority then why do they one drop rule themselves and even impose it on other biracials and multiracials?

  • @chsn09 Most Blacks in America are biracial and multiracial. There is little racial "purity" in this country.

  • @EMBTaylor More like regarded as a person who rushed into a marriage because she got pregnant and then didn't bother to work out troubles but just give up. "Till death do us part?" Yeah, right.

  • @chsn09 She identifies herself as Black. That is her choice

  • Melissa is actually BIRACIAL, NOT Black

  • M015094 - What the hell does being on her second marriage have anything to do with not respecting the sanctity of marriage? I respect marriage ... but I've married two jerks who had no idea of what "marriage" involved. It has to go both ways. You want to give all your respect to people who DON'T divorce but stay with partners who abuse, cheat, etc? Divorce is difficult and life can be very difficult as a divorced person. THOSE are the people who should be regarded with respect.

  • Melissa Harris-Perry is on her second marriage. I guess she doesn't respect the sanctity of marriage, so maybe she should stop talking about it.

  • Right on the money!

  • i love both of these ladies.

  • I was a district manager for a large family restaurant chain in the past. I supervised a total of 15 managers and about 400 employees. If I had did what Weiner did and my managers and employees found out I would be terminated, period. It would not matter if the most of the 100,000 customers wanted me to stay. Heis not tyhe kind of man we want in congress, he should be "fired".
