I would like to perform something like this, just to say I did it. Nothing wrong with that I think. The audience might be a little confused or...well, frightened. So I would probably follow it with something light, happy, and tonal. Like Mozart. He's safe...predictable.

@biggiebrownn let this poor fellow feel great because of his great comment. one more thumb up for you so no one could ever reach you.

@biggiebrownn i dont care about your example. shit you dont get it

@dianava84 im a music major so i know that he was attempting something different for his time but when you get down to it its just a bunch of random noises. for example: john cage's 4'33" is a "song" with no sound whatsoever. we can say what we want about how inovative it was but ive seen roadkill perform that just as good as an orchestra

i didnt wanna say it but you just dont get it

Do not imagine that Art is something which is designed to give gentle uplift and self-confidence. Art is not a brassiere. At least, not in the English sense. But do not forget that brassiere is the French word for life-jacket.

@KonnytheViolin fair enough
so when are we actually allowed to change our views from "this is a masterpiece!" to "wow that was pretty shitty"? because i understand what Schoenberg was doing but damn it just can't ever sound right

La música como cualquiera de las artes es la expresión del alma más pura que alguna vez pueda encontrarse. Asismismo abogo por esa lin¡bertad al contradecir a aquellas personas que han criticado esta excelente pieza.
Viva Pierrot Lunaire.....
