I have a question, can this routine also be used by someone doing brazilian jiu jitsu ...I find that BJJ and Wrestling are sort of cousins....any recomendations would be super awesome. Btw I am writing from South America, just so you know !!
Cheers

Not true, Karelin never incorperated deadlift, bench or squat in his routine. He lifted kettle balls, did pull ups, push ups, climbed ropes, ran, box jumps... no heavy weights necessary.

@JLSealy2 I usually like to do circuits of core, tricep, and shoulder workouts.

This video is legit. There is no substitute for heavy weight training for any athlete. But strength while being "off balance" is crucial for wrestlers. All great wrestlers have incredible balance. Traditional bench, squat, and deadlift are still necessary for overall strength and development, and the video does stress this.

Interesting program but he seems to focus on balance and core activation which are fine but where are the major pulling and pushing muscles which are more heavily taxed in a match.

You are seeing the highlights.
The DVD has good lifting in it. You make the weights as heavy as you can take for success.
