Rohtas Fort (Urdu: قلعہ روہتاس Qila Rohtas) is a garrison fort built by the great Afghan king Sher Shah Suri. This fort is about 4 km in circumference and the first example of the successful amalgamation of Pukhtun and Hindu architecture in the Indian


On 14th Jan 2011 afternoon my senior Mr. KK(Khalid Khifa) was planning his official meeting on 15 Jan in the afternoon in Islamabad.
He said to me munawar, if you r interested to visit Islamabad with me to do photography then you can go with me. He also said after completion of his official meeting he will pick me from any fix sport or location from Islamabad.

But when he was dropping me from his car in the evening he said to me munawar . if you r interested to visit Rohtas Fort... instead Islamabad. ! Then I will drop you at near Dina city ,,,, and u will go by bus to Rohtas fort from Dina which is 8 km away from Dina by road.

I said ok...
And when I reached home and opened my Gmail account, then I saw email of a collage boy... requested me to subscribe him... when I went to his profile on yotube I was amaze to saw Rohtas video on his profile...of 3 minutes
Then I my heart ,,,, said to me.... God and nature is willing to help me... so, I confirmed my visit to my senior by phone call at 22:00 PM Night for Rohtas Fort.
I just spent or paid 15 Rs. Bus fair for Journey towards Rohtas Fort. When I reached inside the Rohtas fort the Management of Rohtas did not allow me for video shoot inside the Rohtas fort... They said to me... u must have permission for video shoot. But there was no restriction for photography... So in 5 hours I took photographs 500 images.. non stop... without any food or Water... The climate was also very nice, Clear and pleasant.
The management team of Rohtas Fort which includes Mr. Adnan, Mr Hanif, Mr. Jahangir were very cooperative and helpful. And I am very much thankful to Mr. Sadique a simple man with his 2 Goats he guided me a lot about the different important spots and location of Rohtas Fort when I was moving alone in Fort.
In the evening I met with Students and teachers of Punjab University of History Department in the museum. And from Museum first Floor I shoot and photograph of sunset images.
And after sunset I started walking towards GT Road in the moon light all alone and when I walked almost 5 KM out of 8 then I got lift from Ch. Adali on his tractor with sand loaded on it. Near 20:00 PM I reached GT Road Dina, where my senior was awaiting for me to return back me to Lahore in his Honda civic Car and we reached safely at home by the blessing of God near 23:30 PM. On 15 Jan 2011 spent 15 Rs (Bus Fair) and photograph 515 images and 15 video shoot out side the Rohtas fort and I spent almost 15 hours total Journey
