I got to sing this while I was in the Florida's Ambassadors of Music on a tour of Europe. .. Amazing! I love this song. It was the most wonderous feeling singing it for a mass over in England. Very well done. By the way this is a very hard peice to sing the choir is on flat ground and the dumb conducter puts the boys in front of the girls. . .grrr. . .Tipy toes only go so far!
The KY Baptist All-State Youth choir and orchestra is doing this one this year! I'm so glad I found you guys doing it. It makes it so much easier to learn! (:
we have song this song like for 6 years in a row at my school and we all love this song we sing it a little diffrently but i love it more and more every year! and we are taking it to contest this year! (first year that has happend)
We sang a slightly different arrangement of this for tenebrae on Good Friday, and I have to say you seem to have capture the mood of this piece MUCH better than us. (Although this was after we had sung for 4 other masses, so by the time we got to this piece, we were about ready to collapse.) Good Job! ^.^
I sung this arrangement of this hymn at Sierra Vista First Baptist Church in Arizona while i was there for AIT. Roger was a wonderful conductor and miss the whole choir.
Bravissimo! I sang that song with a traveling Baptist choir when I was around 18 or 19. I couldn't believe I had spent my whole live in the Assembly of God and missed out on such a good hymn! This was very well sung and I can't help but wonder if the kids understand the archaic lyrics. I guess that depends on their education.
we're singing this song at my school, even though we have a choir of... well barely 12 =) this is a beautiful piece and you guys sound amazing. It's great to be able to actually hear all of the parts.. great work! (=
