We live on a finite planet and sometimes our impact on it is greater than we realize. The seemingly isolated actions we take every day—from our choice of morning beverage to our choice of business practices—are often links in a chain of unusual connections we would never have imagined.

The bottom line: The health of business is directly connected to the health of the natural world. And both can grow and flourish—together.

70% of the Earth is water.

97.5% of all water on Earth is salt water, leaving only 2.5% as fresh water

Nearly 70% of that fresh water is frozen in the icecap

    70% * 2.5% *30% = 0.525% of the earth is water we CAN USE.

< 1% of the world's fresh water (~0.007% of all water on earth) is accessible for direct human uses. So who is talking crap here?

    Don't believe just google it.

see this is exactly why our planet is being destroyed. you don't see what's happening to our planet. Our natural reasources are decreasing, you won't be able to just demand water when ever you need it. Plus, not just humans need water for survival, animals need it too. I'm not saying this directly to you, I'm saying it for people who actually care cause they will do something about it. Gosh, if your going to be so negative about it then why the hell did you even come here to watch it?

Why do we need to "do more with less"? I don't recall scientists, politicians, philosophers, theologians or just about anyone besides some ideological economists providing any rational argument that we always need more. Doing the same, or even less, with less, must be on the table. And in fact, it has to knock some of those latte cups off of it; we can't just demand a world with finite resources to continue providing for constantly growing demand. Let's do less with less, and be happier with it.

Basic thinking of the modern world. Use a higher order of magnitude in the explanation to justify other values. The only fair comparison to an order is within that order. I don't compare the distance to the sun and earth with length of cars or toothpicks for the same reason...it doesn't show anything else than there being a different order involved. I What I'm trying to say is.....compare it to other water saving solutions for a more fair and balanced comparison...we all want to save water

Oh wow.... those groups of people you listed after "normal people" ARE normal people. Why talk crap about something when you clearly know nothing? I'll have you know, it IS people's fault for what's happening. It is everyone's fault since we all use water. It is your fault. It is mine. WWF is trying to make a point and open our eyes a bit more to the freshwater situation. If we all take care in the water we use, we can prolong it's life. :)

I believe the WWF group does and means well, but they are borderline propagating fear with this video. My disputes:

    1. 200 L for one latte? I'm sure the cow didn't just produce milk for one latte. How much of the "cow water" is going into the meat & leather industry, which is feeding us, clothing us, and producing insulin for diabetics? Some insulin is made from a cow

    2. If business change, it will cause mass unemployment period. Then will WWF hire us to sit around and watch the water we saved?
