Musicologists say that this movement is "not pianistic". If it is not pianistic, wherefrom does it come that under the fingers of excellent pianists (as here) it sounds so beautifully ?

I am working myself on this sonata, and I find Boris' interpretation thrilling. He takes the 3/8 pauses in measures 4 and 9 and so forth very brisk! I love the second movement. After the thunderous measures 25-28 carry over into 29 and here the transition from fz to p is actually faster in the original. The last movement is pure fire works and I wish I could play it that way. Great Schubert playing. How about performing ther two a-minors (the small and the grande) here in the US?
