The second winners circle: the first one had the easiest category, the rest were pretty tough (RESORT/SPA had a trap, BROWSE and INHERIT were hard, DISSOLVE and INTERPRET were the hardest ones)....but Jason did well though.
YES!!! That Cards sharks sucked worse than the Detroit Lions in football. The dealer was lazily pressing a button. The host wasnt recognizable and the contestants should have faked smiles. What the hell was a clip chip on there. I am looking 4 a job so I could have got that card pressing job. So easy to do and boring as well.
Couple this with a few lines in the first half of this show, and you get the impression they knew it was the end. This wasn't a bad revival, though.
Ironically, the day after three months of repeats ceased on March 6, 1992 "In Living Color" aired a spoof of the Dick Clark version - a final nail in the John Davidson coffin, as it were.
I was actually excited when I heard about Pyramid coming back in 2002, then I tuned in for the premiere and was SADLY disappointed... December 1991 marked the death of Pyramid... :-(
I have to admit, throat lozenge was a good clue for Things you DISSOLVE.

Donnymid is better than the horrific card sharks 2001.

The real "Pyramid" died after this episode, replaced with that abomination that was "Donnymid".
