Bow hunt at Enon Plantation - 2010 Enon Doe Patrol part 3

Another year at Enon Plantation in Hurtsboro, Alabama. I was able to take 3 does and a nice 9 point during my hunt this year. All were captured on video except one of the does. This particular morning it started off raining before we left the lodge. With that, I left the Canon XL1 at the lodge and just went hunting. When I got to the stand, I found I had my little DVR in my pocket that I started using to film second angle stuff with. The video and sound are not the best, but if I didn't have it, this would be another hunt that only I could enjoy. The first deer that walked by early was a spike, he passed the does on his way down the draw and the does started working right to me. I thought they would pass directly in front of the stand, but one started to go around. That's when I had to move the camera in hopes of getting the shot.

Tru-Fire release, Trophy Ridge sights and rest, BowTech Bow, and Beman arrows with Rage heads and Firenocks, What a combo!

All I can say is don't go until you can make it a part of your annual budget! It's that good!

I wouldn't be going for my 7th year in a row if it wasn't a special place!
