I live in north georgia, i know illegal immigrants personally one of which even told me he was told to come here by a billboard facing the boarder just past the checkpoints in spanish, saying jobs in carpet mill would be available when he arrived. via paperwork it can take 3-6 years just like your mother had to go through. they should have to learn english i agree there. i agree it's not right to come illegally but i could see why someone would want to come especially from mexico.
