I'm Norwegian and I buy this all the time. It's an acquired taste, like beer or whatever, but once you eat enough, you'll think nothing more of it, hehe.

I bought a hand full from the bulk barn - never heard of it, but I like salt & sweet, it is THE WORST. I only bought a bit, I had to look it up because I thought I got a bad batch but I guess it's supposed to taste like that UGH HORRIBLE

That's where I bought them and had them for the first time. I know salmiaki is a Finnish thing. It's all good...just was a moment of nostalgia for me.

Here in finland(also where salmiakki is from),this is just one ordinary delicious candy,and watching other people just scrunging while eating is is so hilarious..:D
