  • I myself would have loved to see the funk side of things or more obscure rare recordings by Rulie Garcia, Steve Jordan Black Sugar(Peru), etc. Hopefully this isn't the last of these type of documentaries. If your interested in dialoguing about making more films like this one email me. luis(at)fullbloom(dot)tv

  • I had the pleasure of working on the motion graphics for this documentary including the open you see here and all the other design work within the film. I agree with all the comments about not giving credit to the bay area, Texas, southwest, NY and even the role Peru and other south american groups had in shaping the Chianoo sound or Latino sound of rock and soul. BUT... there was not enough time or budget and the director made the best decisions he could within that framework.

  • @HURAKAN182 For yourself if that's how you choose to identity yourself fine. But for many of us our heritage was truyly a mix of American and Mexican culture. Having been born and raised in LA 4rth generation

American I was raised with Mexican culture as well as American. I feel no alligance to current day Mexico though i respect my history. I am a Mexican American and nobody can take the pride I have in that away from me. There is no choice, I am what I am and proud if it.

  • EXCUSE ME RAZA...BUT YOU´RE A MEXICAN OR ONLY AMERICAN!...NO LATINO, NO AMERICAN...ONLY AND PURE MEXICAN!

  • L.A.M.C new generation
