Did a quick video of my buddies Double Star 16" Carbine Rifle.

The whole video did not turn out so I just took bits of it and came up with this. So look forward to seeing more of this rifle. He picked this up as his personal rifle so I don't know how much "Thrashing" he will let me do. However I can say it shoots pretty well. I had just recently heard about Double Star and have heard some good things.

So far it seems to be a good rifle for the money. We have not had that many rounds through it yet so I will see how it works after 1000 rounds. Should be pretty good from all the good things I am hearing about it.

From the Double Star Website www.star15.com a little information about this rifle:
• Weight: 7lbs
• 16 1x9 crowned chromemoly match barrel.
• Flattop w/ detachable carrying handle
• 6-Position DS-4 buttstock.
• All parts are anodized, parkerised or black oxided for maximum durability.

  • @GalaticSpaceHero Aaaa! Not a good deal my friend! I'm not a big fan of steel casings, they have a tendency to do that no matter what kind of steel ammo you get, you can always have it happen.....brass isn't as likely, but can still happen if its already stressed brass (multi-reloads, etc...)

  • @jokermann77 Dont mix ammo up like i did in one mag. Jammed it like crowbar in timming chain. Beat the charging handle with rubber mallet , wood block. criped the case up in the chamber behind the bolt.

  • @GalaticSpaceHero So far so good, it's not mine as I mentioned in the info section of the video however we have ran it through its paces, its still going strong. Ran Steel case ammo just fine however we didn't run any Wolf as I told him my past experiences with the stuff and he has decided to stay away from wolf.

Its a good solid rifle and I think you will be happy with it.

  • @jokermann77 How is shooting so far? does it handle the WOLF AMMO ok? steel casing? Mags are working well? ARs need lube , thats ok. I need a short compact Zombie killing Rifle.

  • I removed the guys comment.
