Operation Flashpoint: Red River - Launch Trailer (HD) (EU Version)

Operation Flashpoint: Red River sets the standard for authentic and intense tactical combat in the game's new theatre of war, Tajikistan. Players become part of a US Marine Fireteam dispatched to quell an insurgency that threatens American interests, but the flashpoint rapidly escalates as the Chinese People's Liberation Army enters the fray. Gamers must think tactically and work together to succeed on a deadly battlefield where one bullet can kill.

The launch video focuses on the specialities of each of the members that make up the USMC Fireteam -- Rifleman, Scout, Auto Rifleman and Grenadier -- and shows how their unique skills combine to become a fearsome fighting force. The video reveals some of the wide range of tactical challenges players will face, from escorting convoys through hostile territory to sweeping through towns and taking on night operations. Assisted by air-support, the video shows Marines engaging in both long range and close-quarters combat as they take on insurgents fighting guerrilla warfare and the full might of the Chinese PLA.

Apart from a couple of EXTREMELY MINOR glitches this game is amazing, they've actually progressed and put some effort in to this one, unlike dragon rising. The opening to the missions are funny, exiting and engaging. In fact this game is calling me to play it right now lol

I know its only been two games, but CM should try and put in a different opposing faction other than the PLA, I know Russia is a bit worn-out from overusage on COD, etc but why not? Why not Kazahkstan, or Azerbaijan, or Georgia as a setting or faction? Why not a map editor like ARMA? I know the PLA are rarely used in video games and the producers are taking advantage of this, but why use them almost exclusivley? And of course why not multiplayer, 100% customisable loadouts, maps, and gametypes??

Best war game... I have played all games already since first MOH, then BF 1942, Firsts COD, Brothers in Army, etc... But my favorite always Flashpoint games, since the first ColdWar... I love how you can use your on strategy to complete the mission, and the team work it´s amazing... I do like the graphics, especially the explosions!!!

Just another game trying to go where Modern Warfare and Battlefield have already been and left behind, and by the looks of it they won't even get that far. At least you can see the flash from the sniper firing.

@ZDOG442 You are right, but they are gonna have to step up the release of new dlc FTEs or else this game's community will die out fast.

Mission Editor would be great too, or at least an FTE editor.

1. Add a Mission Editor

2. Continue to support the game with patches to fix glitches, AI, and also support DLC for FTEs, and hopefully missions

I think its better than dragon rising also, but this game will die quick with no pvp and lack of content
