at the Dusit Hotel in Makati. Nov 27, 2010.
This is my first full HD (1920x1080) project - (that's how it all started)
I used a Sony cam on fullHD mode sitting on an Xshot monopod to counter balance the unit and for the fly through or steadicam effect. *frown* Despite that I had to extend my full arm's length to take each shot and had to watch the performances on the tiny LCD which only gave me about 5-10% coverage while I was lounged on the floor so I won't block the view of our Country Director and his guests.
No jib or fancy Arri lighting to avoid the washed out subject burning under the spot light. After color grading each clip and carefully stitching them into this video I realized one expensive mistake just when I was about to add the first title. I learned that the project properties were not set correctly to the target size. I spent one Sunday and I will never have that luxury again so we are left with a thick black band or border surrounding the video and the jagged text because YT will resample the video again. I hope overall, the video is not so awkward. The video can still be proportionally converted to other sizes but the black band remains.
Like all deliveries this too had to go through QC and version releases
Fixes
:: found the song *grin*
:: date adjusted
:: mancom color graded
I'll do better next time - - hopefully not in our next Christmas party.
Nice job for your first full HD project, and very impressive if you were shooting while lounged on the floor !
You could not extend your XShot to 3 feet to go over the heads?
Keep up the nice work.

@xshotpix - Thanks! From the the floor...it's like 80" and its the xShot 2 already. When I pan away I could only see shadows dancing on the LCD so I can tell if my subjects are still in the frame.
I love your product so much that I own the pocket xShot and the first release. But I ordered from Amazon because its cheaper there. *wink*
Couldn't wait for a longer xShot. :)
